Guiding Principle #1: Mission and Strategic Direction

Through our commitment to personal growth and empowerment, we aim to create a world where every person discovers their inherent potential and embraces a purpose-driven existence, fostering a global community enriched by the limitless tapestry of human potential.

    Core Elements:

  • Voice of Hope (VoH) clearly defines its mission, vision and core values and uses these statements to guide planning and action.
  • VoH uses strategic thinking, and key leadership attributes to continually generate insights into factors that impact its mission and achievement of its vision.
  • VoH articulates and engages in strategic planning, risk management, and financial reporting to provide direction and monitor progress. 

Guiding Principle #2: Leadership & Governance

VoH leaders govern by providing high-level vision and leadership to ensure sound stewardship and governance of organizational assets and resources.

    Core Elements:

  • The leaders work as a unit to determine high-level policy and strategy, establishing direction consistent with VoH’s mission, vision, and core values.
  • The leaders set high ethical standards for the company and professional relationships with clients and key stakeholders, ensuring compliance.
  • Leaders regularly grade their performance, keep their commitments, and maintain defined boundaries necessary to ethical conduct.
  • Leaders are recruited and trained using a deliberate process to develop the skills and knowledge needed to carry out the spirit of the guiding principles and their duties.

Guiding Principle #3: Core Values

VoH leaders focus on seven core values that shape our culture and are a cornerstone of the organization. The core values set the foundation for the executive leadership, the clients we serve, the environment we create, and the overall success of the company. The essence of the core values is to lead our clients in eliminating their limiting beliefs and paradigms and reprogramming with empowering beliefs that lead toward goal attainment and success. 

    Core Elements:

  • Leaders leverage the core values to champion the mission, vision, and purpose, as well as operate in alignment with the value we bring to the world.
  • Leaders use core values to guide thoughts, behaviors, decisions, actions, and ultimately, results.
  • Leaders align the core values in the spirit of serving our clients throughout the transformational journey of their mindset, self-image, acceptance, and ownership, and ultimately, their sense of empowerment and freedom.

Guiding Principle #4: Legal & Ethical Accountability

VoH leaders will serve the good of the public. We are obligated to display high levels of ethical behavior, accountability, transparency, and compliance with the law.

    Core Elements:

  • VoH diligently educates itself about, and complies with, all applicable laws and legal obligations.
  • VoH in serving the public good, staff and volunteers are highly ethical in all their actions and behaviors.
  • VoH respects and protects confidential information in its possession and the privacy of everyone involved.
  • VoH openly and honestly communicates with employees, clients, stakeholders and the public about its mission, activities, finances and decision-making.

Guiding Principle #5: Financial Management & Stewardship

VoH leaders effectively and responsibly manage the financial resources bestowed upon them and upon which they rely to accomplish our mission.

    Core Elements:

  • VoH leaders adopt and employ effective internal financial controls.
  • VoH adheres to sound accounting principles, demonstrates fiscal responsibility, and complies with all finance-related legal and regulatory requirements.
  • VoH regularly monitors the sources and health of the financial affairs, and how finances are used, ensuring we are deploying activities to further the corporate mission.

Guiding Principle #6: Operations & Evaluation

VoH develops, implements, and monitors operational plans to ensure accountability, evaluation, and continuous improvement.

    Core Elements:

  • VoH deploys the operational plan, which includes leadership goals and objectives to be achieved within an established timeframe and budget.
  • VoH builds evidence-based evaluation into its operational plan, using the results to build a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • VoH has clearly defined and leader-approved policies and procedures for critical operations.

Guiding Principle #7: Human Resources

VoH recognizes that people are their most important asset. Leaders utilize effective leadership and fair practices to attract and retain employees and volunteers.

    Core Elements:

  • VoH complies with all local, state, and federal human resources laws and regulations.
  • VoH places a high priority on recruiting and retaining top-quality staff and volunteers and creating a supportive, productive environment.

Guiding Principle #8: Communities, the Environment and Sustainability

VoH strives to be a good citizen of the local, national, and international communities in which we do business; to be responsible stewards of the environment; and to consider other relevant sustainability issues in operating their businesses.

    Core Elements:

  • VoH incorporates sustainability into the business in a meaningful way and is integral to the company’s long-term viability.
  • VoH conducts business with meaningful regard to the environment, health, safety, and other matters relevant to its operations.

Guiding Principle #9: Communication and Marketing

VoH engages in communication and marketing that adheres to high ethical and professional standards governing the mission, vision, core values, as well as asset and offerings, client testimonial and success stories.

    Core Elements:

  • VoH develops the annual Marketing & Communications plan to leads, prospects, clients, as well as assets and offering, events, seminars, keynote, and other relevant information.
  • VoH builds and protects its brand, by ensuring its actions are consistent with the messages conveyed.

Guiding Principle #10: Information Management

VoH uses secure technologies to maintain accurate information regarding all aspects of business.

   Core Elements:

  • VoH has a technology plan, policies, and procedures for effective and ethical use of information.
  • VoH implements and maintains technology software for accurate information management.
